The Cutter 2000R and 2000M are special, dual-action, pneumatically operated presses for the precise preparation of specimens for Alpha Technologies Oscillating Disk Rheometers (ODR), Moving Die Rheometers (MDR), Rubber Process Analyzers (RPA), or Mooney Viscometers (MV).
The Cutter 2000R and 2000M produce constant volume specimens that maximize the repeatability and reproducibility of your test instruments.
The cylindrical specimen shape produced by the Cutter 2000R is ideal for use with Alpha's MDR2000 Automation instruments and ensures reliable specimen handle. Pressure measurement equipped moving die rheometers are very sensitive to specimen volume and proper cavity fill. The Cutter 2000R eliminates the guess work, saves prep time and improves data repeatability caused by fluctuations of sample size and shape on all oscillating disk or moving die rheometers, and process analyzers.
